After just a few short years the caulking would fail around the replacement windows and water would intrude into the substrate creating rot and mold problems that led to expensive repairs. In 2004 2FL started developing and testing a new product and installation method that would solve this problem forever. In 2010 2FL brought the product to market and since that time 2FL has installed 1000's of replacement windows without a single failure. 2FL will complete the patenting process by the first quarter of 2013 and will be bringing this product nationwide.
